The Student Ministries Team is definitely one of the most exciting teams in the Canadian Conference. I might be a little biased but the reason for this could be that we all have a nutty fixation on spending time with youth and youth leaders who are without a doubt some of the coolest and engaging people on the planet. But even more so…I believe the reason revolves around the fact that our team is focused on developing a ongoing culture of leadership development in the Brethren In Christ. Our vision translates into providing opportunities and experiences for students where they can build connections with veteran leaders, develop skills for leading in their churches and schools and demonstrate to our youth that we need them leading now.  The SMT has created a series of retreats, events and training experiences that are designed to draw us together.  For more details, be sure to check back here at BICSMT.ca for more details.
